Oil flow through Iraq's Basra Gulf export terminals is back to normal capacity following a month-long infrastructure installation operation that caused exports to be cut by 30 percent.
Exports from the al-Basra Oil Terminal (ABOT), which has 1.7 million barrels per day (bpd) of export capacity, dropped by half on Sept. 11 as a new central metering and manifold platform (CMMP) was installed. Bad weather caused more disruptions and hampered exports further.
