Kurdistan could initiate independent crude exports if its dispute with Baghdad remains unresolved, according to the semi-autonomous region's top oil policymaker. Minister of Natural Resources Ashti Hawrami said that the central government has illegally stopped payments for Kurdistan's past exports and cut the region's share of refined products.
