Luaibi announces Nov bid round, export and production forecasts

Iraq's Oil Minister is pressing ahead with an auction of exploration blocks as the country gears up for big oil output increases amidst soaring oil prices.

    Gas fields bidding round delayed to Oct. 20

    Two new companies buy data packages for auction of three natural gas fields, which has been delayed again due to IOC concerns over contracts and politics.

    CNOOC, TPAO finalize Missan fields contract

    Twelfth contract signed with foreign firms since 2008 will push production capacity to more than 12.5 million bpd within seven years, boosting Missan province's oil standing. And more deals may be in the pipeline.
