NASSIRIYA - Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luiebi has again replaced the director general of the Dhi Qar Oil Company (DQOC), a new state-run firm that otherwise appears primed to grow.

Ali Warid Hamoud, formerly the most senior oil fields official at the Missan Oil Company (MOC), is replacing Ali Khudair al-Abodi as director general of DQOC, according to several political and oil officials in Dhi Qar. Abodi had been appointed in April.
