Iraqi production starts to rebound, but export disruptions persist
June production climbed to 2 million bpd, but fields have been forced to ramp up and cut back within days as export loadings fluctuate — and renewed U.S.-Iran fighting now threatens the recovery.

Iraq's crude oil production recovered to about 2.03 million barrels per day (bpd) in June, up from 1.78 million bpd in May, as a partial return of tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz let the Oil Ministry bring shut-in southern fields back online.
The rebound proved unsteady, however, with output rising and falling through the month in step with the pace of exports — a dynamic that has continued into July.
