KIRKUK - Employees of Iraq's state-run North Oil Company (NOC) held protests Tuesday in Kirkuk over salary payment problems and unpaid bonuses.

The protesters included about 200 engineers, technical staff, and other workers, and gathered in the Arafa area, near NOC headquarters, according to two NOC officials. A third NOC official said there were only 50 protesters.
